Job summary

SAIC seeks a Casual Remote Pilot Operator to join the Controller Training Solutions team at the Dallas–Fort Worth TRACON. You will simulate pilots and other controllers to support FAA air traffic controller training exercises in a high-fidelity environment.

Responsibilities include operating radar/voice systems, taking commands from students, and using correct ATC phraseology. Basic computer skills and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals and speak clearly.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate the flight simulation radar and voice comm systems for ATC training.
• Receive voice commands from students and input entries to simulate pilot actions.
• Translate displayed information into ATC terminology and respond via VCS with correct phraseology.
• Support FAA controller training programs across multiple positions and scenarios.
