Job summary

SAIC seeks a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator to join the Controller Training Solutions team at the Anchorage ATCT (ANC) in Anchorage, AK. The RPO role involves simulating pilots and other controllers in a high-fidelity training environment for FAA air traffic training.

Responsibilities include operating a radar/display and voice comms system, inputting actions, translating data into ATC terminology, and communicating with students using standard phraseology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read diagrams and manuals and speak clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate a flight training simulator and voice comms system to mimic pilot actions.
• Enter correct data into automated systems to simulate pilot actions.
• Translate displayed data into ATC terminology and communicate with students via VCS.
