Job summary

SAIC seeks a full-time Remote Pilot Operator for the Controller Training Solutions team at AVP in Avoca, PA, supporting FAA training services. The role involves operating a simulated radar/voice system to mirror pilot actions and ATC communications within high-fidelity scenarios.

You will input data into the simulator, translate visuals into correct phraseology, and respond to students using accurate terminology, ensuring training integrity.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and basic computer proficiency.
• Candidates must read and interpret diagrams and manuals and speak clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate the simulated radar display and voice comms to mimic pilots and remote ATC.
• Input entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions.
• Translate displayed information into ATC phraseology.
• Respond to students via VCS using proper terminology.
