ProAg in the United States is seeking an Associate Underwriter to review annual policy documents and support brokers in crop insurance underwriting. You will apply FCIC and RMA guidelines, prepare quotations, respond to inquiries, and ensure compliance with deadlines and underwriting authority.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant underwriting experience.
• Experience in agriculture or crop insurance preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with discretion and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Review policy information for crop insurance coverage and proper rating.
• Respond to broker inquiries within designated timeframe.
• Verify rates using RMA and ProAg tools.
• Prepare quotations for agents and answer questions from agents or policyholders.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and deadlines.
