Vertex Inc. is seeking an Associate Technical Solutions Analyst to join our remote US team.

You will analyze and troubleshoot complex client technical issues, develop product and tech knowledge, and support data-driven applications in collaboration with senior staff. You will engage in pre- and post-implementation activities, contribute to documentation, and participate in ongoing training and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Information Systems, CS, IT, Data Analytics, or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience via co-ops, internships, graduate projects, or up to two years of early-career professional work.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Java, XML, APIs, web services, ERP platforms, cloud environments, or enterprise application support.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex client technical issues with senior team guidance.
• Serve as a customer-facing tech resource during pre- and post-implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot data-driven applications, databases, XML sources, APIs, and enterprise tech environments.
• Contribute to knowledge base, documentation, and best-practices from investigations.
• Stay current on Vertex products and enterprise tech; participate in team projects and on-call rotations.
