The University of North Texas in Denton seeks an Associate Registrar to oversee Certifications and Degree Conferral, ensuring accuracy and continuity of student records across enrollment and retention initiatives.

You will manage multiple registrar teams, collaborate with campus units, and advise students, faculty and staff on regulations while implementing new processes to support academic success and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five or more years of progressively responsible experience in academic administration or related field.
• Master's degree and six years of increasing responsibility in higher education preferred.
• Ability to lead multiple teams and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee certifications and degree conferral operations and accuracy of student records.
• Lead and develop staff within the Registrar's Office and partner with campus units.
• Advise students, faculty, and staff on regulations and procedures.
• Plan, implement, and improve processes, policies, and systems across enrollment and retention efforts.
• Collaborate on cross-campus initiatives to support enrollment and student success.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and university policies.
