Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Associate Real Estate Portfolio Manager to lead complex real estate transactions, financial analysis, and contract negotiations across business units.

This asset-management role reports to the Sr Manager of Real Estate and partners with Legal, Risk, Operations and BU leadership to drive value and compliance. The position is remote from home and requires 5+ years in commercial real estate plus a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in real estate, business, finance, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred real estate or related field
• Five (5) years or more professional experience in Commercial Real Estate related jobs required

Responsibilities

• Manage Real Estate transactions start to finish. Source brokerage services and collaborate with brokers to locate properties and complete valuations.
• Lead internal cross functional team and execute changes with Ryder's legal, operations, risk, tax and environmental departments to complete projects.
• Coordinate with broader Real Estate Facility Planning and Construction team to complete portfolio projects that require construction or equipment installation.
• Evaluate assigned real estate portfolio for needed improvements and drive process enhancements.
• Ensure Ryder portfolio records are accurate and current in RE database and comply with internal controls (SOX).
