Job summary

Deriva Energy, based in Charlotte, NC, seeks an Associate Project Manager to plan and execute capital projects for wind fleets and other initiatives. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, safety, and risk, coordinating with wind operations and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Candidate should have a engineering-related degree and 5+ years of project/operations experience, with travel to sites and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of project/operations experience.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel to wind project sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project manager and primary point of coordination for assigned capital projects and multi-site campaigns.
• Develop project charters and execution plans defining scope, schedule, budget, contracting strategy, outage requirements, quality expectations and risks.
• Plan and coordinate major component replacements and campaign work involving turbines, balance-of-plant systems, cranes, and materials.
