Deriva Energy is seeking an Associate Project Manager to plan and execute capital projects supporting the wind fleet and other initiatives. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk, coordinating with wind operations and cross-functional teams.

The role requires leading charters, execution plans, and budgets, with travel to project sites as needed. Based in the US, remote option may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of project, construction, maintenance, or operations experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager and primary point of coordination for assigned capital projects and multi-site campaigns.
• Develop project charters and execution plans defining scope, schedule, budget, contracting strategy, outage requirements, quality expectations, risks, communications, and turnover criteria.
• Partner with wind operations, site leadership, engineering, procurement, finance, EHS, legal, and asset management to validate project need and develop executable scopes.
• Plan and coordinate major component replacements and other campaign work involving turbines, balance-of-plant systems, cranes, specialized labor, transportation, tooling, materials, and site access.
• Establish and maintain integrated project schedules, including engineering, material readiness, contractor mobilization, outage windows, construction activities, commissioning, and return-to-service milestones.
• Manage approved project budgets, commitments, forecasts, cash flow, contingency, invoices, change orders, accruals, and variance reporting.
• Lead contractor and supplier interfaces during execution, monitor performance, and drive timely resolution of safety, quality, schedule, commercial, and technical issues.
• Provide concise project updates, dashboards, forecasts, and decision materials for operations and company leadership.
• Coordinate project closeout, including punch-list completion, turnover documentation, warranty information, lessons learned, final cost reconciliation.
