Job summary

Enertis is seeking an Associate Project Engineer based in Raleigh, NC to join our growing engineering consulting team. This client-facing role involves travel and provides opportunities to develop renewable energy expertise across solar PV, wind, and BESS projects.

Key duties include providing technical/administrative support, managing project timelines, and ensuring quality while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Engineering BS required; Electrical, Mechanical or Civil preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in C&I and/or utility-scale solar projects.
• Spanish speaking and writing are a plus.
• Proficiency with Python 3, Excel formulas, and Excel VBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support.
• Undergo on-the-job training and manage project deliverables.
• Perform energy yield assessments and review documentation.
• Control productivity and deadlines; assure quality of work.
• Support client communications and cross-team discussions.
• Travel approximately 10–20% as needed.
