Job summary

Enertis Applus+ seeks an Associate Project Engineer based in Raleigh, NC to join our renewable energy consulting team. The role is client facing and requires some travel; you will support technical and administrative aspects of diverse projects and help manage deliverables with a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers remote and hybrid work options, a stipend for home equipment, and opportunities to grow within a global engineering consultancy focused on solar, wind, and storage projects.

Qualifications

• Masters, MBA, NABCEP, LEED, or Professional Engineer license are a plus.
• 0–1 year experience in C&I and/or utility-scale solar projects consulting, engineering, construction and/or development.
• Spanish speaking/writing are a plus.
• Proficiency with Python 3, Excel formulas, and Excel VBA.
• Experience with solar modeling software such as PVSyst is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support on projects.
• Manage all types of projects.
• Perform energy yield assessments, and opine on project documentation such as permitting, contracts and commissioning.
• Control productivity of projects and team members; meet deadlines and ensure quality.
• Assist the team with communications with the client and between project participants.
