Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support a large federal facilities program across multiple sites. The role involves schedule, risk, change control, reporting, and deliverable reviews, with deployment where needed and remote work on Eastern Time, plus travel to program sites as required.

You will work under the PMO Director and senior project managers, growing independent leadership on smaller scopes while gaining exposure to program governance and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• Two or more years supporting projects in a federal, infrastructure, facilities, or construction environment.
• Working knowledge of schedule, risk, and change control fundamentals.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong written communication for leadership status updates.
• Willingness to travel to program sites.
• Experience with Power BI or Kahua is a plus.
• Familiarity with FAA, DoD, or federal facilities programs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support senior project managers across active task orders with planning, scheduling, procurement coordination, quality, and risk from initiation through closeout.
• Maintain site level risk registers and change control logs with owners and mitigations; prepare inputs for weekly risk reviews.
• Track progress against baselines, report status and variances, and draft corrective action plans.
• Support deliverable reviews and phase gate checkpoints; coordinate reviewers and ensure contract requirements are met before client submission.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation per governance and client requirements; assist data transition into program systems (Power BI, Kahua).
• Identify work outside current contract scope and route through change control.
• Provide coverage for gaps by joining site teams on short notice; coordinate with field staff and report to the PMO.
• Coordinate with client and partner counterparts to align submissions, approvals, and reporting.
• Model CBRE RISE values in daily activities.
