Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Project Manager for its PMO, supporting a large federal facilities program across multiple sites. The role involves schedule, risk, change control, and deliverable reviews, with deployment to where needed and site-level work as required.

The candidate should have at least two years of federal project support experience, strong written communication, and the ability to travel. This is a remote role based on Eastern Time, with potential site travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• Two or more years supporting projects in a federal, infrastructure, facilities, or construction environment.
• Working knowledge of schedule, risk, and change control fundamentals and the ability to apply them without detailed direction.
• Ability to travel to program sites.

Responsibilities

• Support senior project managers across active task orders with planning, scheduling, procurement coordination, quality, and risk from initiation through closeout.
• Maintain site level risk registers and change control logs, confirm every entry has an owner and a mitigation, and prepare inputs for weekly program risk reviews.
• Track progress against approved baselines, report status and variances, and draft corrective action plans for review.
• Support deliverable reviews and phase gate checkpoints, including coordinating technical reviewers, tracking comments to closure, and confirming deliverables meet contract requirements before submission to the client.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation in accordance with program governance and client requirements, and support the transition of project data into the program's systems.
• Identify work requested outside current contract scope and route it through the change control process.
