Job summary

TSC, operating under the FALCATA brand, seeks an Associate Payroll Accountant to support accurate, compliant payroll processing for exempt and non‑exempt staff. This remote role covers federal, state, and local regulations and DCAA/CAS requirements for government contracts.

You will manage semi‑monthly payroll cycles, timekeeping, onboarding, and tax compliance, partnering with HR, Accounting, and program management to ensure accurate labor charging and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Admin or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
• Hands-on experience with ADP and Deltek Costpoint or similar systems.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process semimonthly payroll using ADP and Costpoint and ensure timely transmission.
• Review timecards for completeness, accuracy, and proper approvals.
• Assist with new employee setup in payroll systems and onboarding.
• Ensure payroll tax compliance and accurate filings across jurisdictions.
• Maintain payroll documentation and support internal audits.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and timekeeping controls.
• Support government-contracting timekeeping and labor charging requirements.
