Job summary

CG Oncology, Inc. is hiring an Associate Director of Field Training to design and deliver high-impact programs for the commercial field, ensuring alignment with launch readiness and measurable business outcomes.

You will lead onboarding, certification programs, and readiness assessments while building a modern training ecosystem that scales across national and regional initiatives, leveraging AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–12+ years pharma/biotech experience in training, sales, or commercial roles.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% to support business meetings, clinical sites, conferences, and other company-related activities.
  • Launch/pre-launch experience required.
  • Experience delivering field training at scale.
  • Oncology or specialty experience preferred.
  • Experience leveraging learning technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and performance analytics to improve field capability highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional leaders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise field training strategy aligned to commercial priorities and launch readiness.
  • Translate brand and commercial strategies into field-facing curricula, learning journeys, and role-based programs.
  • Lead new hire onboarding and continuous learning across field roles.
  • Own training strategy and execution for product launches.
  • Partner with Marketing and Medical to ensure compliant and differentiated messaging.
  • Design and deploy certification programs and readiness assessments.
  • Identify and mitigate field readiness risks and gaps.
  • Develop high-impact training content across formats.
  • Lead adoption of AI-enabled role play, simulations, and microlearning.
  • Own the commercial learning technology ecosystem, including Brainshark, Microsoft Copilot, CRM learning tools, Power BI dashboards, AI coaching platforms, and future learning technologies.
  • Ensure scalability and quality of training assets.
  • Deliver national and regional training programs.
  • Serve as voice of the field to inform training priorities.
  • Establish feedback loops with field leadership.
  • Optimize programs using performance data and insights.
