Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Sr. Training Manager, Oncology, to develop and deliver training for commercial field representatives. You will work with global trainers to create disease-, product-, and market knowledge training tied to promotional policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining disease and product SME, designing curricula, coordinating with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and managing vendors. Travel to HQ and remote work possible with 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech preferred.
• Training, Marketing or Sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Oncology and Gynecologic oncology preferred.
• Experience building training tools to enhance clinical acumen.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and training platforms.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain subject matter expertise for disease states, products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute training programs with minimal guidance.
• Design and enhance curriculum to meet Commercial needs.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance for accuracy and policy.
• Manage vendors and contract requirements for training content.
• Lead training meetings, planning, and logistics across teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align training with brand objectives.
• Collaborate with external partners to deliver best-in-class training.
• Provide feedback to continuously assess training needs and innovations.
