Job summary

Silverman Theologou LLP is seeking a Pennsylvania-barred Associate Attorney for a full-time remote position. Residency in or near Philadelphia is preferred to support court coverage, with travel for court appearances required. This role focuses on civil litigation and creditors’ rights within a multistate practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing; other admissions a plus.
• Excellent research, writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work remotely in a fast-paced team.
• Willingness to travel for court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume civil litigation caseload with guidance from experienced attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients at court hearings and other legal proceedings in Pennsylvania.
• Negotiate settlements aligned with client objectives and applicable law.
• Perform legal research and stay current on Pennsylvania laws, rules, and procedures.
• Collaborate with remote attorneys and legal support staff to move matters forward.
