Job summary

Siegel Jennings is seeking an Associate Attorney to grow a digital-age litigation practice focused on property tax. You will manage cases remotely with mentorship from experienced attorneys and travel across Pennsylvania to hearings and trials.

The firm emphasizes professional development and hands-on education without billable hours pressure. The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of litigation experience, is admitted to practice in PA, and demonstrates strong written and oral advocacy.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in PA and in good standing.
• 3–8 years of litigation and trial experience.
• Property tax litigation experience considered a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to professional growth.
• Self-starter who can work remotely and travel frequently.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage a full caseload independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong presentation and public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Try cases before trial courts throughout Pennsylvania.
• Develop case strategy and attend hearings at the administrative level in Pennsylvania's 67 counties.
• Significant travel throughout Pennsylvania's 67 counties for administrative and court appearances.
• Handling a volume litigation caseload.
• Handle trial court conferences and oral arguments throughout the Commonwealth.
• Appear at trials and administrative hearings throughout Pennsylvania and at trial court conferences, oral arguments and evidentiary hearings.
• Research, draft, file, and respond to motions and supporting briefs, and present oral argument before Pennsylvania trial courts.
• Legal research and writing.
• Attend orientation, trainings, meetings, etc. both in-person and virtually; quarterly travel to Pittsburgh.
• Attend local or national industry conferences, as requested.
• No billable hours requirement.
