Rausch Sturm LLP seeks an Associate Attorney for our Florida practice. licensure is required with admission to the Florida Bar. The role focuses on attending court, signing pleadings, settling cases, and other attorney tasks, with the possibility of travel.

The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of litigation, manage a caseload, and contribute to risk analysis while complying with state and federal rules. The position is remote with some travel expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida and maintain active bar status.
• Experience in civil litigation and attending court proceedings.
• Ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery with deadlines.
• Knowledge of consumer laws and related regulations is a plus.
• Ability to manage a personal caseload with independence.

Responsibilities

• Review correspondence and files, prepare discovery and dispositive motions, and facilitate trials.
• Attend Florida court hearings when required and provide strategic guidance.
• Analyze legal and regulatory risks and advise on compliance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, stipulations, and related documents.
• Effectively manage a caseload while meeting deadlines.
