Job summary

US DEFAULT GROUP, INC. Lakeside Park, Kentucky, is seeking an Associate Attorney to support creditors’ rights and real estate matters. You will learn across practice areas, with growth opportunities based on performance.

Ideal candidates organize and prioritize deadlines, have meticulous attention to detail, and can work independently while communicating effectively. Ohio Bar is required; Kentucky/Indiana licensure is preferred. Local or remote options available.

Qualifications

• Requires a JD and active bar membership; Ohio bar is required.
• Ability to manage deadlines and workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; detail-oriented.
• Knowledge of foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections rules is a plus.
• Local commuting distance to Fort Mitchell, KY or willingness to work remotely in Cleveland area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive review of conditions precedent, loan documents, financials and demand letters.
• Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate actions.
• Attend court hearings and coordinate with opposing counsel.
• Maintain updated internal documentation with findings and recommendations.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and firm policies.
