Job summary

Providence is seeking an Associate Actuary for a remote role focusing on healthcare actuarial analytics. You will own complex projects, communicate findings to senior stakeholders, and mentor junior analysts. Remote work options are available as part of our flexible, patient-centered culture.

The role requires an ASA designation or progress toward it, a related bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years in healthcare actuarial analytics, with strong SQL and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Successful completion of 4+ ASA exams.
• ASA designation upon hire.
• 5 years healthcare actuarial/analytics experience.
• Experience writing queries in SQL or another language.
• Experience applying project management in data/financial analysis projects.
• Experience working for a large health care provider or plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex actuarial work with minimal supervision.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to peers, leaders, and senior stakeholders.
• Take ownership of complex projects from planning through completion.
• Coach and support growth of junior analysts.
• Partner across teams to achieve shared outcomes.
