Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, social science, finance, or a related field.
• Successful completion of 4+ exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) upon hire
• 5 years healthcare actuarial/analytics experience
• Experience with writing queries in SQL or another programming language
• Demonstrated experience applying project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects
• Experience working for a large health care provider or plan

Responsibilities

• Perform complex actuarial work with minimal supervision and deliver high quality results.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to actuarial peers, leaders, and senior stakeholders across the organization.
• Take full ownership of complex projects from planning through completion, anticipating dependencies, risks, and key decisions.
• Provide guidance to project teams and support the growth of junior analysts through coaching and knowledge sharing.
