Job summary

Merrick & Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join a team working on DoW projects, with opportunities in Atlanta, GA, Huntsville, AL, Melbourne, FL, or remote from Jacksonville, FL.

You will assist with coordinating multi-discipline design teams, tracking schedules and budgets, and supporting QA/QC across the project lifecycle. A strong background in engineering/design, collaboration, and client communication is essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 4–8 years designing and managing multi-discipline projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
• U.S. Citizenship required for client projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing multi-discipline design teams on DoW projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align schedules, deliverables, and scopes.
• Coordinate internal team calls and track RFIs to clients.
• Support QA/QC reviews of project deliverables.
• Help develop design budgets and schedules under guidance of a senior PM.
• Review design documents for client and company standards.
