Job summary

Merrick & Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead challenging facility design projects for federal clients. The role manages budgets up to $250M and coordinates multi-discipline teams across several US locations, with remote option in Jacksonville, FL.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in project management for design projects, strong client management skills, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) or Master’s in Architecture.
• 15+ years designing/managing medium to large facility projects.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with US federal government organizations (e.g., USAF, NAVFAC, NASA).
• Proficiency with military/government full-service design projects.
• Proven client management and leadership of multi-discipline teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client satisfaction and profitability for design projects.
• Manage facilities design for military/government clients with budgets up to $250M.
• Prepare and validate scope of work and fee proposals.
• Establish project budgets and schedules and manage resources.
• Coordinate design disciplines and ensure schedules are met.
• Prepare external communication and invoices.
