Job summary

BaubleBar seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee the full transactional accounting cycle, including AP, T&E, revenue, AR and GL ownership across corporate accounts. This hands‑on leadership role requires strong technical accounting knowledge and people management.

You’ll direct and develop the Accounting Supervisor, Revenue Accountant and AR Manager, own the monthly close, reconcile balance sheets, and drive process improvements and automation for multi‑channel ecommerce platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop the Accounting Supervisor, Revenue Accountant and Part-Time AR Manager
• Serve as the escalation point for judgment calls and unusual transactions
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and career development planning
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities across all owned functions
• Review and approve AP aging and cash disbursement forecast
• Oversee vendor master data controls, invoice‑PO match, and T&E policy compliance
• Review monthly revenue‑to‑cash reconciliations across all sales channels
• Oversee revenue recognition policy application and reserves
• Own the AR reserve and oversee collections aging
• Manage the close calendar and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and review journal entries and support
• Support internal control design and testing
