Job summary

Wisdom Teeth Guys is seeking an Assistant Controller to help develop accounting policies and oversee all financial procedures for the company. This fully remote role requires strong GAAP knowledge and hands-on ledger experience across multi-location operations.

You will reconcile bank accounts, support monthly closes, manage intercompany transfers, 1099s, and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. QuickBooks experience is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in GAAP and accounting procedures.
• Experience with general ledger, AP/AR, and month-end close.
• Experience in multi-location and multi-entity operations.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile multiple bank accounts
• Provide accounting support to department managers
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Assist with monthly close and financial statements
• Assist with starting up new markets
• Manage merchant accounts and PCI compliance
• Work with insurance claims team on reconciliations
• Manage petty cash and deposits
• Handle intercompany transfers and funding sheets
• Manage equipment assets and loans
• Annually handle 1099s and unclaimed property
