Job summary

JM Services and Consulting, LLC is seeking a Remote Assistant Chief NWQL to support the Chief NWQL in managing the Northwest Quality Lab department. This full-time remote role is based in Santa Fe Springs, CA, with responsibilities spanning staff oversight, project management, and strategic process improvements.

You will monitor timelines and budgets, coach staff, uphold quality standards, and build strong client/vendor relationships while guiding lab procedures and regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years leadership in a laboratory setting.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, methods and equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while collaborating with a team.
• Experience with quality control and assurance processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief NWQL in overseeing daily NWQL operations, including staff, resources, and projects.
• Collaborate with the Chief NWQL to develop and implement strategies to improve NWQL efficiency.
• Ensure projects are completed within timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards for reliable results.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and guidance on laboratory procedures and methods.
