Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM seeks a Group Leader for the Quality Support Services (QSS) within the IQPA Leadership Team. You will manage deployed quality professionals across the Laboratory and coordinate with Capital Projects on new construction, modifications, and maintenance programs.

This senior role requires expert technical leadership, staffing and budget experience, and strong collaboration and communication with Federal oversight partners and program owners. U.S.

Qualifications

• Expert-level leadership of technical operations with strategic decision-making.
• Line management experience with staffing and budget planning in deployed services.
• Quality assurance leadership for complex/high-hazard operations or programs.
• Advanced teamwork and collaboration to implement new service delivery processes.
• Excellent communication with federal oversight partners and program owners.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance (U.S. Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary interface between IQPA and customers seeking deployed quality services.
• Coordinating successful quality assurance support of projects and programs to ensure their success.
• Managing the capabilities of the group to maximize mission impact.
• Integrating QSS with IQPA quality programs, policies, tools, and personnel.
• Interpreting requirements, planning strategically, and managing day-to-day operations and resources.
