Responsibilities

• Initiates and reviews for approval purchasing transactions with paperless documentation.
• Reviews purchases for grant/university funding allocations and correct budget coding.
• Reviews procurement card transactions for compliance; code for accurate reporting and notify cardholders of issues.
• Processes spend authorizations and travel expense reports per guidelines.
• Processes internal and external invoices and reimbursement requests.
• Advises on compliance issues and resolves before processing.
• Enters requisitions into Marketplace and monitors purchasing process.
• Works with academic units on annual budget process and reconciliation.
• Provides entry and reconciliation support for annual budget and monitors encumbrances.
• Completes year-end financial closing procedures.
• Coordinates with payroll to ensure accurate onboarding and payments.
