Neighborhood Healthcare seeks an Accounting Specialist I for a mainly remote accounting department. The role performs on-site cash audits, processes deposits, reconciles transactions, and supports AP tasks across multiple sites.

The position is temporary, with a 3-month assignment. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate’s degree preferred and two years of accounting or cash handling experience. A valid CA driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ general accounting or cash handling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site cash audits and PSR audits for all sites.
• Process daily deposits and scan checks for accounting.
• Reconcile deposits and credit card transactions.
• Maintain cash banks for local sites.
• Process credit card transactions.
• Prepare cash reconciliation reports.
• Work with AP and purchasing software (Dynamics 365 BC and Coupa).
• Enter invoices, perform reconciliations, and run reports.
