Job summary

Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers is seeking an Assistant Manager for Private Equity and Hedge Funds in a REMOTE role. You will manage accounting records for hedge and private equity holdings using external pricing resources and perform NAV reconciliations.

You will prepare accounting reports, coordinate year-end audits under GAAP, and supervise accounting analysts. You will liaise with internal and external clients to deliver accurate accounting packages and support process

Qualifications

BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 4 years experience with Private Equity Fund Accounting / Fund Administration and 2 years supervisory experience.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Maintain timely accounting records for hedge and private equity holdings using external pricing resources.
Perform NAV reconciliations and prepare accounting reports.
Coordinate year-end audits in accordance with GAAP and communicate fund transactions to internal/external clients.
Supervise and train accounting analysts to ensure quality client deliverables.
Support due diligence to ensure regulatory compliance and staff staffing needs.
