Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Investigator to protect company assets and reduce risk across stores and online channels.

You will conduct investigations, compile case summaries, and maintain documentation for internal teams and outside agencies when needed. Responsibilities include case reporting, PCI compliance hotlines, and CCPA reviews, with strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and collaboration with Legal, HR, and Risk Management.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Asset Protection, retail, or care center experience.
• Strong Excel, Power BI, and MicroStrategy skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of social networking platforms and online investigative tools is a plus.
• Wicklander integrity interview certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with exception-based reporting systems such as Appriss Secure 5 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely investigations across brands and channels and prepare objective case resolutions.
• Maintain department files, records, and investigative documentation per policy.
• Document case activity and maintain case management records for trend analysis and leadership updates.
• Provide investigative support to Asset Protection leadership and cross-functional partners (Legal, HR, Risk).
• Assist with case reporting, auditing, PCI hotlines, and CCPA review as part of weekly tasks.
