Job summary

Prometric is seeking a Manager, Assessment Development to lead a team of assessment professionals in creating and maintaining certification, licensure, and K-12 assessment programs. This remote role with travel involves directing development activities, ensuring quality, and collaborating with psychometricians, clients, and cross-functional teams.

The role reports to the Director, Assessment Development and sits within the Assessment Solutions department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, measurement, psychology, or related field.
• Five+ years in assessment development or related field.
• Proven leadership and project management experience.
• Knowledge of psychometrics and industry standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor the Assessment Development Specialists.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Ensure assessments meet specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with psychometrics, publishing, PMO, account management, and clients.
• Communicate project status and risks to leadership.
• Support accreditation and audit activities.
