Job summary

Prometric is seeking a Manager, Assessment Development to lead a team of Assessment Development Specialists responsible for creating and maintaining certification, licensure, and K-12 assessment programs. This role partners with psychometricians, subject matter experts, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, standards-aligned content.

You will oversee project delivery, staffing, workload, and process improvements, while coaching team members and promoting a collaborative,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education, measurement, psychology, or related field.
5+ years in assessment development, certification/licensure, or K-12 assessment.
Demonstrated leadership or project leadership experience.
Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
Knowledge of assessment development practices and psychometric principles.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor team of Assessment Development Specialists.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables across programs.
Collaborate with psychometricians, clients, and cross-functional teams.
Oversee blueprint development, item development, form assembly, and test maintenance.
Communicate project status and risks to leadership.
