Job summary

Expatiate Communication, Inc. is seeking a dedicated SPED Specialist / ASL Interpreter to facilitate communication for Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients. You will provide real-time ASL interpretation across various professional settings.

Applicants must have a current RID certification, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and minimum of one year of professional experience. This is a per diem role with remote working options available.

Qualifications

• Current, active certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID).
• Minimum 1 year of professional ASL interpreting experience in diverse settings.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time spoken English into ASL and ASL into spoken English.
• Collaborate with our Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
