Job summary

A language access provider is seeking a certified ASL Interpreter to deliver interpretation services for USCIS interviews and meetings, both remotely and onsite. Candidates must be fluent in ASL and English and hold relevant certifications. Qualifications

• 2+ years of interpreting experience in legal, medical, immigration, or government settings.
• Ability to work both onsite and via secure VRI platforms.
• Must pass a Tier 3 or Tier 5 federal background investigation.

We are expanding our ASL Interpreter team to support the USCIS contract and are seeking certified professionals to provide both remote (VRI) and onsite interpretation services.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate ASL interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and meetings (in-person and via VRI).
• Interpret effectively in sensitive environments, maintaining confidentiality and neutrality.
• Adapt communication styles to diverse individuals, including applicants with varying levels of English proficiency.
• Adhere to Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) code of professional conduct.
• Maintain compliance with USCIS protocols, security, and ethical standards.
• Participate in training, quality audits, and ongoing professional development.
