Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC Communications seeks a Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality ASL interpretation via video and onsite at various locations. You will uphold NAD-RID ethics, deliver professional service, and travel as needed. Must be fluent in ASL and English, with interpretation accuracy and Deaf culture awareness.

The role is part-time/flex with benefits; minimum two hours per quarter and eligibility for perks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Accurate interpretation and knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Deaf culture understanding and professional demeanor.
• 3–5 years of interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure or credentials, if applicable.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective onsite interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a respectful, professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Adhere to all policies and participate in required trainings.
• Travel as needed; access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in all settings.
