Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC seeks a skilled ASL Interpreter to support Deaf and hearing individuals across education, medical, legal, and community settings. The role involves on-site and remote interpretation with a commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, a relevant degree, and RID/BEI/CDI certifications or equivalents. Flexible schedules and travel may be required to support on-site assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional ASL interpreting experience in education, medical, community, or legal fields.
• Bachelor’s Degree in ASL, Linguistics, Deaf Studies, or related field preferred.
• RID, BEI, or CDI certification (or equivalent) required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate ASL-to-English and English-to-ASL interpretation for one-on-one interactions, groups, and virtual or in-person meetings.
• Facilitate communication across education, healthcare, legal, and community settings.
• Utilize VRI and other technologies for remote interpretation when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to RID Code of Professional Conduct.
