Job summary

Avantpage is expanding its network of ASL interpreters across the U.S. to support a range of interpretation assignments. This freelance/independent contractor role covers on-site and VRI interpreting in medical, educational, legal and community settings.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of professional interpreting experience and credentials such as RID or BEI are a plus. Flexible scheduling and supportive coordination help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Credentials such as RID or BEI are a plus.
• Experience across medical, educational, legal or community settings is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and VRI ASL interpreting across assignments.
• Attend briefings and coordinate with clients for accurate interpretation.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure confidentiality of information.
