Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC seeks an experienced ASL Interpreter to provide high-quality ASL interpretation across education, medical, legal, and community settings. The role involves both in-person and remote work with VRI support, upholding RID standards.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of professional ASL interpreting experience and a Bachelor's in ASL or related field, with RID/BEI/CDI certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional ASL interpreting experience in education, medical, community, or legal settings.
• Bachelor’s Degree in ASL, Linguistics, Deaf Studies, or related field preferred.
• Must hold RID, BEI, CDI, or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate ASL-to-English and English-to-ASL interpretation for one-on-one, group, and virtual or in-person meetings.
• Facilitate communication across education, healthcare, legal proceedings, and community services.
• Utilize VRI and other technologies for high-quality remote interpretation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Collaborate with Deaf individuals, colleagues, and staff to ensure seamless communication.
• Perform other language support tasks as assigned.
