Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC seeks a skilled American Sign Language interpreter to provide high-quality ASL interpretation services across education, medical, legal, environmental, and social services with both remote and on-site options.

Candidates should have 5+ years of professional ASL interpreting experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and RID/BEI/CDI certifications; travel for on-site work may be required, with strict confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional ASL interpreting experience in education, medical, community, or legal.
• Bachelor’s Degree in ASL, Linguistics, Deaf Studies, or related field preferred.
• RID/BEI/CDI certification (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to travel for on-site assignments and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate ASL-to-English and English-to-ASL interpretation for one-on-one and group settings, in person or virtual.
• Facilitate communication across education, healthcare, legal, and community services.
• Utilize VRI and other tech for remote interpretation when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow RID Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate with Deaf individuals and staff to ensure clear communication.
• Perform other language support tasks as assigned.
