Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Area Business Director to lead a team of Area Business Managers (ABMs) across Pediatric, Family/General Practice, IDN/IHNs, Health Systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers. This role reports to the Regional General Manager and requires up to 75% travel to coach ABMs, meet customers, and attend events.

The position supports the implementation of a new go-to-market strategy within US Vaccines and aims to drive business outcomes across a full vaccine portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a field sales team in a B2B environment.
• Ability to develop divisional business plans by products, segments and contracting modalities.
• Strong analytical skills to drive territory planning and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead a division team of ABMs to build trust with customers in a B2B selling environment.
• Direct ABMs in acquisition, expansion and retention of targeted accounts within the area.
• Drive implementation of ABM customer plans using omnichannel promotions and analytical tools.
• Support teams to navigate contracting and pricing to expand sales with targeted accounts.
• Establish and track territory performance metrics and adjust plans accordingly.
• Coach/train team members to identify opportunities and map key contacts.
