Job summary

HellermannTyton is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive the sales of our product line through distribution, focusing on end-user project opportunities and spec positions with named customers in collaboration with our channel partners. The role is remote-based, with territory coverage across Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.

Under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager, you will train customers, develop a robust sales pipeline, and maintain accurate account records while traveling frequently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; a BS/BA or an associate degree with 10 years of outside industrial sales experience acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial or electronics sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer-literate with ability to manipulate AI, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel 1-2 overnight stays per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sell HellermannTyton product line through distribution to key markets.
• Provide training and technical expertise to customers.
• Achieve quota through prospecting and new business development.
• Maintain account records and leverage sales support and systems.
• Represent company value proposition to customers.
