Job summary

Western Funding Incorporated seeks an Area Sales Manager to be the face of the company to our dealer customers. The role focuses on growing funded deals by partnering with suitable dealers and onboarding them into the program.

This full-time position requires traveling up to 75% across local regions, building strong dealer relationships, and delivering consultative sales to increase funded contracts. Training is provided to ensure success in the field.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales; experience in Financial Services or auto dealerships preferred.
• 1–2 years in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success.
• Clear and effective presentation skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to visit auto dealers.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts assigned to you.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow dealer partners within Independent and Franchise communities.
• Maintain constant and effective communication with dealer partners on current programs.
• Train dealers in Western Funding including proper documentation for fast funding of contracts.
