Job summary

PPG is seeking a Technical Paint Service Representative to support customer sites across Southern/Central Pennsylvania. The role is remote with high travel to multiple customer locations, and requires commuting to the largest site near Chambersburg, PA.

You will work with the local Technical Service Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and process improvements. Responsibilities include resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with coatings teams, and assisting with new opportunities and

Qualifications

• Experience in wet or powder coatings is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on site.
• Attention to detail and data collection abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site activities at customer production facilities and at PPG facilities.
• Communicate clearly to understand customer concerns, collect data, take action, and resolve problems.
• Provide accurate reporting to the customer and coatings team.
• Coordinate with PPG Technical and Account management; promote EH&S on site.
• Assist sales with commercialization of opportunities and product launches; support trials and process improvements.
• Follow safe work practices and communicate with technical, production, and non-technical staff to meet customer needs.
