Job summary

AO is seeking an Architectural Project Manager - Construction Administration to serve as the on-site representative during construction and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and internal staff to ensure projects meet approved plans, specs, contracts, and codes.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and at least 5 years of construction administration or architectural project management experience, with strong leadership, communication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years in construction administration or architectural PM.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, specs, contracts, and building codes.
• Experience with FHA, ADA, TCAC, and accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site firm representative during construction.
• Manage bidding and construction phase activities.
• Attend and facilitate construction meetings.
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, change orders, extra service requests, and progress billings.
• Conduct site visits and monitor progress for code compliance.
• Prepare punch lists and Certificates of Substantial Completion.
• Review and coordinate as-built drawings and closeout documentation.
