Job summary

AO is seeking an Architectural Project Manager – Construction Administration to serve as the on-site representative from early construction through closeout. The role coordinates with clients, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and staff to ensure alignment with plans, specs, contracts, and codes.

The position emphasizes site oversight, budget tracking, and effective communication across disciplines, with periodic travel to project sites and a primarily remote work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited college.
• Minimum 5 years of construction administration or architectural project management experience.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and construction phase activities.
• Attend and facilitate construction meetings.
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, product submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor construction progress.
• Prepare punch lists and Certificates of Substantial Completion.
• Assist with project staffing, budgeting, and scheduling.
