Job summary

AECOM is seeking multiple Archaeology Technicians for immediate remote, part-time, on-call work within our Cultural Resources team in the Midwest. Projects will be in Ohio and Illinois; overnight travel is possible; assignments run through December and may extend depending on weather.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 2 years of field experience; US citizenship and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• 2 years of relevant archaeological field experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education.
• US citizenship is required and a valid US driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of fieldwork tasks under supervision.
• May travel overnight for field sessions in Ohio and Illinois.
• Collects and maintains data and project documentation.
• Assists with calculations, equipment setup, inspections, and data entry.
