Job summary

Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT) is seeking on-call archaeological field technicians to support Phase I–III investigations across the Midwest and Southeast U.S.

Technicians will travel from home base to project sites and assist senior archaeologists with field surveys in varying terrain. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology or Anthropology, or related field, with field school experience; CRM experience is a plus, and non-degreed candidates with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a closely related field.
• Archaeological field school experience preferable.
• Preference given to those with prior CRM experience.
• Non-degreed applicants with significant field experience and knowledge will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Phase I, II, and III archaeological investigation.
• Collect data using Esri Field Maps and Survey 123 applications.
• Prepare detailed field notes, including plan and profile drawings.
