Job summary

AECOM is seeking multiple Archaeology Technicians for immediate employment within our Cultural Resources team in the Midwest. This is a remote, part-time, on-call position, meaning workdays and times will be determined on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with archaeology field experience required.
• 2 years of relevant archaeological fieldwork or equivalent.
• Valid US drivers license and clean driving record.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.
• May gather and maintain records of scientific data for supervisor, including environmental sampling and inspections at client sites.
• Assists with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, and maintaining project documentation.
• Collects and enters data and applies technical principles under supervision.
